Michael C. Harms, DDS owner of Apex Dental, General Dentistry practice in West Vail. Michael is a graduate of Northwestern University in Chicago, IL and has been practicing for over 14 years. He is a member of the ADA and CDA and participates in local charity events. He is a big proponent of public health and prevention. He and his wife Susan, a physician, proudly served in the Air Force together and moved to Colorado in 2006 for the lifestyle. Michael was an avid skier and ski instructor prior to attending dental school. He now enjoys snowboarding and hiking with his wife Susan and Swiss mountain dog "Spring". You may see them out and about in town or on the slopes. Say Hello! Michael enjoys working with people of all ages and always welcomes new patients to his practice. 
Tina Schwartz our Hygienist
Tina Graduated 2005 from the university of Colorado, Health Science Center. She was the past president of WSDHS (Western Slope Dental Hygiene Society) She has lived in Vail for 20 years. She enjoys hiking, snow shoeing, gardening and cooking. She shares her fun times with her husband Jack and their Lab Gus. Tina is committed to dental continued education. She is passionate about educating her patients about the new science behind dentistry.
Melinda Kniffen RDA, front office
Melinda is our new addition to the office. She brings 11+ years dental experience as a Registered Dental Assistant and Office Manager in California. She will help you with your insurance questions. When she is not at work she might be found painting, hiking, biking and now learning how to snowboard.
